X-Men: First Class is Finally Showing its Potential (New Trailer Included)
By: Schnyger

Who ever has been in charge of the marketing for X-Men: First Class should be fired. The first cast photo released was so bad the movie's director publicly attacked it. Since then there have been posters that looked like they were designed by high schoolers, production stills that couldn't be more boring, and about 30 different variations of the same, dull trailer. It was as if they were trying to make this movie die before it was even released. And yet, I always had faith in it.
The films cast is very solid, the film's director has proven his hand at both franchise adaptation and comic book movies, it's being produced by Brian Singer who gave us the two good X-Men movies, and the film's set up is much needed breath of fresh air. The forming of the X-Men and the destruction of Xavier and Magneto's friendship has huge potential to make a great movie. With all of this going for it, I have truly been amazed at how bad they have been able to make the film look. But finally things are beginning to change.
A new trailer is out (call this trailer 22 and a half) and it has drama, action, context, and is all around pretty cool. See for yourself below and for more information on this film, check out my previous posts on the subject.
