So Steve, the top dog around here, has been practically begging me to start up a blog.  Apparently my writing is entertaining (This is him saying this, not me, so its not bragging).  The thing is, I'm not super into sports.  I enjoy them, sure.  I was even in them throughout all of high school.  Actually, I played a year of college football as well, but, I didn't play much and it wasn't exactly a top notch football program.  So why am I writing on a site called Sports Page Network?  I don't know....it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Anyway, here I am, for better or worse, much like the cannibal island scene in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 where it left you thinking this part was funny and enjoyable, but why is it really in the movie?  What will I be writing about?  Movies, as if the above metaphor wasn't a big enough hint (though technically its a simile, but the common person doesn't really use that word so...).  Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy my blog in the future.
